A Night Yonder

The sun was saying nearly goodbye
To welcome the lonely night.
The tip of the rain kissed my forehead
To say you are nearby.
The noise of thunder created an urge
To hold you deep and tight,
But no one was there but only me and the lonely night.
I wanted to walk in the rain
To get the blessings that showered,
And the clatter-patter sound made my ears feel
The chit-chats we did somewhere.
The rain suddenly stopped, giving a feeling
No one was there, but only me and the lonely night yonder.
The evening star came with the bright moon,
Told me not to wander,
Life is long but not longer than love,
So, do not fall for a crooker.
The real heart never leaves the hand
Knowing that the danger is nearer.
The real heart is the one with whom
You can share the sorrows,
Shedding the tears on each other’s attire.
Hearts are black, hearts are white,
Hearts are varicolored,
Follow your heart together with your soul.
To choose the heart with never-changing color.
The heart within the heart that won’t hurt you,
Neither will bring the life, vengeance,
Promising life, not to face repentance.
Otherwise, do not feel sad if you get
Only you and the lonely night yonder.
