It’s been a long way that we have traveled.
Neither you nor I can ever return that way.
But we both know what we have gone through.
We know how much we miss one another.
That brief period of our journey, we may never forget.
The beautiful time we spent together
Is the happiest time I’ve ever had.
As time passes, maybe our memories will fade,
Whether dissolved by the sands of time, the priorities of relationships, or many other things.
We may carry on with our lives in remarkable ways.
Perhaps we will be the happiest people around.
No one else can recognize or even understand the reality of our hearts.
The most tragic thing is to hide pain behind the curtains of a fake smile.
